Em setembro o Brasil teve a grande honra de receber a visita do Professor Jeffrey Paul Staab, Professor Associado de Psiquiatria da Mayo Clinic em Rochester. O Professor Staab é o autor das teorias que culminaram no diagnóstico “Tontura Perceptual Postural Persistente – TPPP” e referência mundial no assunto. No dia 23 de setembro proferiu a conferencia “Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness – A New Diagnosis with a Long History”, em que narrou a evolução do conhecimento e atual conceituação do novo diagnóstico, que passará a integrar o Código Internacional de Doenças a partir de 2017.
